Carson City Photo Club

                                   MONTHLY COMPETITIONS: 

We will have a monthly competition, based on the theme for that month (chosen the year before at the November meeting). 

Each member can vote for their top 3 favorites.  1^st  2^nd and 3^rd place will be awarded, and the winners will also pick their favorite photo (Winners Choice Photo).

• Each member will be allowed to submit 1 - 8x10 inch photo.

• This photo must be attached to a 11 x 14-inch mat (any color). 

• No other sized photos/mats or frames allowed.  (We must keep the size of the photos consistent so there is enough room to display all photos at the museum.)

• All photos submitted must be taken within the last 12 months.

• No double mats allowed on photo for competitions (these are too heavy to hang in our display.)

Each competition photo must have an information tag attached, including the following information:   Photo Title, Location, Time of day, F-Stop, Shutter Speed, Focal Length, ISO, and Camera type, (see attached sheet). 

Names will not be included on the information tag for the monthly competition.  After the competition members will be provided with a label to add their name and the name of their photo for the museum display.  Photos can be picked up at next month’s meeting.
